The Customer Care Team has a three-ring policy, ensuring service is there when our customers need it. The team understand the industry well, and with low staff turnover Gaby’s team get to know our customers and their needs exceptionally well. Waste Options receive constant positive feedback on the service Gaby and her team deliver every day.

At Waste Options, the seamless management of our financial operations is crucial to our success. Shahnaz, as the Head of Accounts, plays a pivotal role in ensuring our financial processes are efficient, accurate, and reliable.
Shahnaz has led the accounts team for more than six years with a focus on automating accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. She oversees accounts payables, ensuring that suppliers are paid accurately and on time, thereby preventing any disruptions in services. Her responsibilities extend to managing the company’s finances, including accounts receivables and payroll, ensuring the accuracy of invoices received from both suppliers and to customers, and overseeing tax submissions and applications.
She is also dedicated to the training and development of the accounts team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Her leadership and innovative approach have significantly contributed to the company’s financial stability and operational excellence, earning her recognition for promoting accuracy, efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction.
Shahnaz loves the Waste Options culture, which emphasizes close coordination and teamwork across various departments, showcasing the team’s ability to work together towards a common goal.

Meet Sandra, our Office Manager at Waste Options. As the business owner, Sandra is dedicated to energizing our office and preparing our team for each day’s challenges.
Drawing from her extensive background in hospitality, she brings a wealth of experience in leading and mentoring large teams within Sales & Operations.

Waste Options understand the importance of interpreting and presenting waste data to illustrate the issues and opportunities for all our customers. Harshad is the Head of Business Intelligence with the charter of turning the thousands of lines of waste data every month into a valuable resource for our staff and our customers.
Harshad’s team use various technologies to automate and improve processes such as ensuring our customers invoices are accurate and predicting changes to the collection needs of our customers. All while decreasing manual inputs so we can decrease our cost of doing business and increase savings to our customers.
Harshad’s team receive data from our 200+ contractors and create a uniform data set that populates our consolidated invoices and accurate reporting platforms. This provides our customers the benefits of using the best contractor in each region whilst the convenience of one invoice and one accurate report.

Head of Subcontracting & Compliance
Jarrod, our Head of Subcontracting & Compliance at Waste Options.
With over 200 contractors across Australia and accreditations in ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001, Jarrod plays a pivotal role in overseeing our subcontractors and ensuring compliance with both customer requirements and ISO standards.
After 22 years in the Freight Forwarding industry, where he liaised with suppliers and customers, Jarrod sought a new challenge and joined us at the beginning of 2023. His extensive experience with various systems has made him appreciate our user-friendly online compliance portal, which is free for our contractors.
In addition to his primary role, Jarrod also serves as our Events Coordinator, always ready with a costume to match any occasion.

Meet David, our Head of Sustainability at Waste Options.
David is dedicated to helping our customers achieve their sustainability goals. He assists with GECA and NABERS requirements while driving continuous improvement in waste diversion and avoidance.
The high-quality, accurate data produced by Waste Options provides a clear picture of our customers’ successes and areas for improvement. David collaborates with our customers’ sustainability teams to enhance training, improve signage, and implement new recycling streams.
Our extensive contractor network includes some of the most innovative resource recovery businesses in the industry, giving David the tools to maximize waste diversion. At Waste Options, circular solutions are a priority, focusing on reuse options and engaging with emerging resource recovery companies to foster a healthier, more diverse industry.
With 25 years of experience in sustainability, starting in Landcare and progressing through a career in FM, David understands the business pressures faced by building managers and aligns our solutions to meet their needs

Paul has been the National Operations Manager at Waste Options for over five years. With a background in senior and executive roles at a leading national waste and recycling company, Paul brings a wealth of experience to support both Waste Options staff and clients across all facets of the industry service value chain.
Paul entered the resources sector over 15 years ago, drawn by the dynamic, fast-paced nature of the industry and the opportunity to make a positive, lasting environmental impact through client networks. He finds this combination both fun and rewarding, making it a fulfilling career path.
At Waste Options, Paul’s responsibilities include overseeing contractor and key client management, driving business improvement initiatives, managing the national account managers, and ensuring safety and compliance. He is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and efficiency for our clients. Paul’s forward-thinking approach ensures that Waste Options remains agile and adaptive, ready to tackle any challenges that arise.

John is the GM and alongside Sandra they both had the vision to create a customer focused waste management company back in 2014 which led them to start this business and have their first customer in April 2014.
He is a proven leader of people and business transformation. Focused on business outcomes through people to achieve organisational excellence. Dedicated and passionate about delivering a safe, clean, cost effective environment that contributes to greater safety, financial outcomes and overall culture.
Highly skilled at relationship building and engaging across all levels in an organisation, creating trust and confidence. Experienced in developing and implementing Management strategies that drive sustainable growth and Business Development whilst achieving operational efficiencies.
John has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to prioritising our customers in all aspects of the business. His steadfast focus on the “customer first” philosophy serves as a guiding principle for our team, ensuring that every decision, change, or enhancement aligns with our customers’ needs and expectations. Throughout her career, Karen managed relationships with some of the world’s most prominent organisations across various sectors, including transport, healthcare, and aged care. She possesses a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations and is dedicated to developing strategies that meet these demands.
Based at our Sydney Head Office, Karen oversees multiple Waste Options customer portfolios. She drives change and improvement by collaborating closely with customers and Account Managers to assess the feasibility of new solutions and ensure their seamless implementations through comprehensive training and transition to new platforms and tools.

Kellee is the powerhouse behind our Contract Admin team, where she leads with innovation and dedication, especially in the area of National Contracts. With six years at Waste Options under her belt, Kellee brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to excellence.
Her particular affinity for Dangerous Goods and all things liquid has made her a go-to expert in the field. But it’s not just her technical know-how that sets her apart—Kellee’s strong work ethic, industry knowledge, and genuine passion for customer care make her an invaluable member of the team.
